Definition
An endpoint is a point that marks the end of a line segment or the start of a ray.
A line segment has two endpoints—one at each end.
A ray has one endpoint, where it begins, and then it continues in one direction forever.
Endpoints are often used to name segments and rays. For example, segment AB has endpoints A and B.
