Our Mission
Math for People Who Don’t Like Math
Simply put, our mission is to create math for people who don’t like math. Whether you love it, hate it, are afraid of it, or anything in between—we’re here to help.
We provide a safe, supportive space where anyone can learn, grow, and thrive in math—at their own pace, without pressure.
But hear us clearly
We Don’t Dumb It Down
Challenging by design
Creating math for people who don’t like math doesn’t mean making it easy. We believe everyone deserves access to challenging, thought-provoking problems—not a watered-down version.
Every level, low pressure
We move away from systems that keep students from reaching higher-level concepts. Instead, we open up all levels of problems in a low-pressure environment where anyone can explore at their own pace.
What we believe
Unprecedented Access
Every person has the capacity to grow, adapt, and create new conditions for themselves—when they have the tools to do so.
But life doesn’t give everyone the same starting point. Students move, families face disruptions, and teachers often lack the resources they need. No one should fall behind simply because key information wasn’t within reach.
That’s why we’re committed to offering unprecedented access to the entire math community—students, parents, teachers, and anyone who wants to learn. Every resource is built to give people the full landscape of their subject, so no one feels lost simply because the information wasn’t available.
This mission began the year I started teaching, scrambling to find materials each day because I didn’t have access myself. I wanted to create what I needed back then: a one-stop place where teachers could find the highest-quality resources without waiting for a district adoption or a budget approval.
And we want families to have the same level of access—to understand what their students are learning, to support them confidently, and to never feel helpless at the kitchen table.
Resources so good they should be hard to access because of their quality—yet fully available to all, without barriers or a high price tag.
Everyone deserves the tools to unlock their capacity, and we’re here to make sure they have them.

Why relationships
Strengthen Relationships to Foster Learning
We believe learning is most effective when relationships are strong.
Without solid connections, both academic progress and personal growth are challenged. So beyond math resources, we build tools that help strengthen relationships—because strong relationships create an environment where learning thrives.
Students & Teachers
The connection where learning starts—and where confidence is built or lost.
Parents & Students
Support at home that keeps students encouraged, consistent, and known.
Teachers & Admins
Trust across a school that gives educators room to do their best work.
