Interior Angle of a Polygon: An interior angle is the angle formed inside a polygon where two adjacent sides meet at a vertex.

Key points:

  • Every vertex of a polygon has one interior angle.

  • An interior angle and its adjacent exterior angle are a linear pair and add to 180°.

  • The sum of the interior angles of a polygon with n sides is (n - 2) 180°.

  • In a regular polygon, each interior angle can be found by dividing the sum by n.
