Definition
In a right triangle, the legs are the two sides that form the right angle (90 degrees). These are the two shorter sides of the triangle. The third side, which is opposite the right angle, is called the hypotenuse.
Legs: The two sides that are adjacent to the right angle.
Hypotenuse: The side opposite the right angle and the longest side of the triangle.
