Definition
A line is a straight one-dimensional figure that extends infinitely in both directions. It is defined by a linear equation and can be represented graphically on a coordinate plane. A line has a constant slope, which indicates its steepness, and it can be described using various forms of equations, such as slope-intercept form (y = mx + b), point-slope form, or standard form. Lines can also be classified as horizontal, vertical, or slanted based on their orientation.
