Definition
A line of reflection is the mirror line over which a figure is reflected to produce a mirror image.
Key Points:
It’s the line that each point and its image are equidistant from.
The original figure and its image are symmetrical across this line.
Every point on the line of reflection stays in place during the reflection.
Example:
If a triangle is reflected over the x-axis, the x-axis is the line of reflection.
