Two angles in a polygon that are across from each other and do not share a side.
In simple terms:
Angles that face each other.
Example:
In parallelogram ABCD, ∠A and ∠C are opposite angles. ∠B and ∠D are also opposite angles.

Important Note (Parallelograms):
In a parallelogram, opposite angles are congruent (they have equal measure).
