In simple terms:
Any shape that has four straight sides and four corners.
Example:
Squares, rectangles, trapezoids, rhombuses, and parallelograms are all quadrilaterals.
Important Notes:
The sum of the interior angles of any quadrilateral is 360°.
Quadrilaterals can be classified by their sides and angles (e.g., parallelogram, rectangle, rhombus, square, trapezoid).
