In simple terms:
A four-sided shape where opposite sides are parallel and all corners are right angles.
Example:
A standard door or a notebook page is shaped like a rectangle.
Important Notes:
Opposite sides are congruent and parallel.
Diagonals are congruent (equal in length) and bisect each other.
All properties of parallelograms also apply.
