A segment (or line segment) is a part of a line that has two endpoints and includes all the points between them.

It does not extend forever like a line does.
It has a definite length.
Named using its endpoints (e.g., segment AB is written as AB).
Example:
If you have two points, A and B, then segment AB includes:

All points between A and B
