Definition
A segment bisector is a point, line, ray, or segment that divides a line segment into two equal parts.
Key points:
It passes through the midpoint of the segment.
A segment bisector can be vertical, horizontal, or slanted, depending on the segment it bisects.
If the bisector is a line and it's also perpendicular to the segment, it's called a perpendicular bisector.
Example
If segment AB is bisected by point M, then AM = MB, and M is the midpoint.
