Definition
A parallelogram that is both a rectangle (four right angles) and a rhombus (four congruent sides).
In simple terms:
A four-sided shape with all sides equal and all corners 90°.
Example:
A standard chessboard square is a perfect square.
Important Notes:
Opposite sides are parallel and congruent.
Opposite angles are congruent (all 90°).
Diagonals are congruent, bisect each other, and are perpendicular.
All properties of rectangles and rhombuses also apply.
