Definition
The vertex angle of a triangle is the angle formed by the two congruent sides in an isosceles triangle.
Key points:
The vertex angle is opposite the base in an isosceles triangle.
It is formed where the two congruent sides meet.
Together with the two base angles, the vertex angle makes up the three interior angles of the triangle.
